As one of the show's hosts and the lead automotive designer, Chip Foose, along with his team of builders, transforms the vehicles of unsuspecting owners from clunkers to custom masterpieces.

Each of the rides is obtained through some ruse, usually with the assistance of a family insider. In only 7 days, Chip and his team of volunteers will completely rebuild and customize the vehicle, before finally revealing the supped up ride to the surprised owner.

An array of vehicles has appeared on the show, everything from early era Fords to vintage muscle cars. Chip himself served as the mark for one episode when his beloved 1956 Ford F-100 was stolen and restored by a team led by his own father, Sam Foose.

With over 80 episodes filmed and nearly 90 vehicles restored, the show continues to be featured heavily via re-runs, syndication and international markets. With the relaunch of the series slated for Fall 2012, expect the fun to continue. Be sure to check out our photo albums showcasing some of the builds, vehicles and renderings from the show.
