What a great trip to Brazil and Puerto Rico! I was fortunate enough to begin my week in Brazil touring Rio De Janiero. Thankfully it was a beautiful day so I was able to get a clear view of the well-known Corcovado Statue overlooking the city. Once my sightseeing was over, it was time for me to get to work.

I signed autographs at one of the largest dealerships in Rio and then spoke at a Honda dealership about my experiences in the automotive industry. Afterwards, I headed over to a 3M distributor, Colormetria, where they had a huge tent set up outside. I met some fans there and got to see some old friends too. That night I got on a flight to Sao Paolo, but that wasn't until I was sent off in traditional Rio fashion. The Samba band showed up that day in their blue and yellow striped shirts playing tambourines and a variety of drums. I also received a really cool black and orange striped jersey from Rio Club Flamengo that had a #10 and Chip Foose on the back. I really appreciated such kind gestures from the people in Rio.
Once I arrived in Sao Paolo, I spent most of my time Wednesday and Thursday at the Feitintas Trade Show. I spoke in front of about 600 people at the Feitintas Symposium and then signed autographs and did some drawings for fans at the 3M booth. They put together a really nice set up there. I met some VIP customers and enjoyed time with the fun and lively 3M Brazil Automotive Aftermarket Sales and Marketing Team. I went to a nice lunch in Sao Paolo with some of my good friends from the 3M Brazil team, but my time there came to a close in the wee hours of the night when I had to depart for Puerto Rico.
My schedule was packed from 7am-7pm and started at the Technical College in Puerto Rico. I spoke about the new 3M products at a couple body shops and did a few drawings for the wonderful fans there. I had some interviews and then the distribution partners and some of the body shop teams took me to a very nice dinner to wrap up my trip.
I really enjoyed spending time with the 3M group and meeting new fans. I hope to be able to return again soon to see my friends in Latin America.
